About my wine journey

Hi there. Im Cassie!

I was born in Bollnäs, Sweden but are currently living in Spain, Costa del sol since 10 years.

My passion in life is wine of course! I am currently studying the Winemaker Program with University of California to fulfill my dream to make appreciated wines in the beautiful rolling hills of Italy one day.

My wine company was born in Spain in 2018 with wine shops, wine bar, sommelier services for restaurants and wine tastings.

I am also active as a board member in the Swedish Wine Association "Munskänkarna" Costa del Sol section where I do tastings and arrangements together with all our amazing members here in Spain. If you are interested of joining let me know!

I am a Wine Writer in Home & Lifestyle Magazine. I write about everything from wine trends to grapes, areas or specific wines.

Earlier in life I have worked as a chef in Sweden for 10+ years and when I found the passion in wine I finished the WSET 1, 2 and 3 course to broaden my new passion for wine knowledge. To understand more of a Sommeliers point of view, I also studied at Court of Master Sommeliers USA to get knowledge from another professional perspective.

After tons of hours studying and studying I realised that my heart and fascination always comes back to Italy´s diversity and amazing wines so I also went to beautiful Florence to gain my Italian Wine Scholar Guild Cert. So I can proudly call myself an Italian wine expert as well, if I want to.

But what more fascinates me in the world of wine is that no one is ever a fully-trained wine expert. We in the wine industry learn from each other all the time and new wines and styles are born every day. Stay curious and continue to learn!
